Ruustinna’s accommodation in the charming buildings of the old vicarage
Ruustinna offers visitors a window into the past.
This historic residence near the center of Saarijärvi accommodates business travelers, holidaymakers, and event guests in three idyllic rooms located on the second floor of the main building. All rooms offer lake views over Saarijärvi. In addition, five atmospheric rooms are located in a separate building called Wäentupa, built in 1830. The room rate includes a generous Finnish breakfast to start your day off right.
During the summer season, glamping tents and Tentsile tree tents are also available by the lake.
In 2026, a new hotel will open in the Ruustinna courtyard, offering additional accommodation capacity and enabling a wider range of services. The new building will respect the area's history and landscape, with a focus on comfort, accessibility, and sustainability.
