Traditional Finnish Sauna & Hot Tub

Finland wouldn’t be Finland without a proper sauna! Experience an authentic Finnish sauna tradition in Kotatieva’s peaceful forest setting, just 10 km from Rovaniemi city centre.

Our approximately 80-year-old traditional log sauna is heated with wood, offering gentle warmth and the perfect way to relax after a day of winter adventures. Outside, a warm hot tub awaits, where you can unwind in the fresh Arctic air surrounded by snowy forest. On a clear evening, you can enjoy the starry sky – and if you’re lucky, even the northern lights.

The sauna and hot tub experience can be combined with forest ice skating and other winter activities at Kotatieva, or booked as a peaceful evening experience of its own.

The sauna and hot tub are reserved privately for your group. Towels and washing products are included. Swimwear is required in the hot tub, so please bring your own.

Transportation from Rovaniemi city centre or Santa Claus Village can be arranged for an additional fee. Please enquire about transportation availability in advance.
